65K Funded - Custom Wooden Tokens achieved! New 75K Goal

Together we got to 65K!!! We're thrilled that these awesome wooden tokens will be included in Abandon Planet. They add so much to the theme, and we're confident that simply playing with them (highest stack of hammers contest?) will be at least half the fun. Here's the new news!
We achieved custom resource tokens!
75K Goal - 3D printer files for all 16 rockets! Once the campaign is over, only Backers will be able to choose which 8 rockets are included in the game. The voting has been neck and neck on some - so what if your favorite doesn't make it? 3D Printing! This has become a much bigger deal recently, and companies like Shapeways or your local crafter studio can whip up 3D models easily, if you've got the files. Well, soon you will!
All 16 rockets ready to be printed!
All 16 digital files prepped for 3D printing will be delivered to all backers of one or more full copies of the game, as a totally free addition! We can't wait to see the rockets you print up in the colors you choose - heck, these rockets are just plain fun! You could make them for Abandon Planet, or as pawns for other toys or games! Wouldn't Monopoly be sort of okay if there were rockets landing on Park Place?
.STL files ready for 3D printing!
New Pledge Level for PnP: For $15, you'll receive one full color digital pdf of the game AND all 16 rocket models! This is a great deal for PnP backers, since after the campaign ends these 3D print files (in .STL format) will be offered in two $8 packs of 8 Alpha Rockets (those included in the game) and 8 Beta Rockets (those not in this, but possibly future games). Print and Play backers will get both packs for less than the price of one. Take your PnP to the next level!

We're at over 70% funding and just halfway through the campaign. That is, and you are, incredible. THANK YOU. Now here's how we're giving back.
1. Cheaper Shipping. WE ARE THRILLED to be able to deliver this update. Starting right now we're offering much cheaper international shipping, worldwide - and for EU customers, we are now 100% EU Friendly! Which means EU customers will pay NO extra VAT or other charges. Check 'em out:
For single copies: UK: $10 / EU: $20 / INTL: $25
For two copies: UK: $16 / EU: $30 / INTL: $40

2. Vote on Custom Rockets. Our designer Bobby Reichle has worked night and day to produce a total of 16 rocket models for this campaign! So guess what? YOU, our awesome backers, get to choose which ones we'll put in the game! For every copy you order you'll get a vote on every pair of rockets. And since these rockets may fly into future Orange Machine Games, choose well!
Preliminary voting is starting right now on the Abandon Planet website (and Twitter, but we see now voting on the website is better). Vote on both, and talk about em here on the KS page! We've posted the first 8 rockets, and the next 8 will be live next week. Anyone can vote on these rockets, but only backers of one or two copies of the game will be able to vote in the final surveys at the end of the campaign. The final voting will be based on which rockets are popular in these first polls, so help us decide which rockets launch and which get Meteorized!

WE MADE IT!!!!!!! This rocket will fly. Thank you! We can't wait to get this game to your doorsteps. Now that the launch sequence is set, let's talk about what else we can make happen!
Stretch Goal #1: If we reach 55k, this slick looking and efficient insert will hold all items in the box with little to no shuffling at all. We originally planned on a cardboard insert like many games, but we'd love to be able to deliver this higher quality, organized custom mold. Help us make it happen! And once we reach 55k, we'll see what else we can tape to the ship!

It has been an amazing week and a half. We’re so excited that communities around the world are getting into Abandon Planet and sharing the campaign. Here are the updates on our end!
1. Would you like to know precisely how to play Abandon Planet? Starting today, the complete rules are available online at our website below. Check 'em out and be ready to launch the moment your box comes in the mail!
2. You know how to play, but how does it feel? Well, we played Abandon Planet live on Twitch at BGG.CON this past week, so you can find out! Check the link below to watch a complete gameplay demo with Don and the great convention goers at BGG!
3. Okay, you know the rules and how it feels, but do you want to PLAY? Now you can. Today we’re releasing a complete Print n Play document for Abandon Planet! Check our website for the download, and play some games over the holidays!
We hope these complete rules, online play session, and full PnP get you excited about the game that’ll be heading to your doorstep! Share all the above with your friends to help keep this rocket on schedule.
Let’s talk SHIPPING. We have heard you: International shipping is painful. It’s a lot for you, and it’s a lot for us. We are talking with both Panda and BlackBox daily about improving it - specifically about shipping from the manufacturuer to five different warehouses around the world instead of the original one. So, we can’t yet say exactly how it’ll go down, but please know that we’re definitely listening, and we’re working on it!

Excellent backers, thank you for being involved! This is Don, the project creator.
After a great day 1, We've heard from the community, crunched the numbers, and have decided to reduce the price of the game! This means we'll need a greater number of pledges to reach the cost of manufacturing, be we absolutely believe in the great times provided by the game, and we want to give as many players as possible a shot at Abandon Planet!
The new price points are $35 for one copy of the game, and $62 for two copies! We believe these are the best prices to help get everyone involved. When you have time, please adjust your pledge level to one of these new options.
Thank you for being involved so far, and be sure to get the word out to friends and family! We can't wait to get this game out to the world (and launching off it!).
